Hotel Ambadi Thekkady, Thekkady

I had high hopes for this hotel, but the dining experience was quite disappointing due to poor food quality and service. The location is decent and close to tourism spots, but the staff's attitude and responsiveness left much to be desired. Despite the beautiful ambiance, the overall experience didn't meet my expectations.

The hotel has a beautiful and quaint appearance, but I was disappointed with the room's damp smell and cleanliness. While some restaurant aspects were nice, including the service and breakfast, the facilities, especially the bathrooms, really need improvement. It was an average experience, marred by a few issues which could have been easily fixed.

During my recent visit to Thekkady, I had a mixed experience at Ambadi Hotel. While the exterior and ambiance were impressive and the rooms seemed to be well-kept according to previous visitors, my dining experience fell short due to the poor service and some mediocre food. The restaurant's service was especially lacking, with unfriendly staff making the experience unpleasant at times. However, there were a couple of commendable dishes that stood out, which added to a somewhat redeeming dining experience.

Our stay at Hotel Ambadi had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, surrounded by nature and close to attractions, and our room was lovely, complete with a balcony. However, we faced some challenges with cleanliness and service that dampened the experience a bit. Overall, it's a charming place, but there's definitely room for improvement.
